Want a very solid and stable custom ROM that runs better than your stock ROM with 1.836Ghz overclocking support?

If so, give TuchMi S3X ROM a try, this ROM is exactly that. For overclocking, google “setcpu” and download the app from XDA forums or use the on-board CPU app by typing “su” and “cpu” in terminal emulator. This ROM also comes V6 supercharger script, which can enhance and optimize your ROM even further.

Try it out and let me know what you think of this ROM, thanks!

Hey man I downloaded and installed this on my I747m and upon getting passed the Google restore screen it tells me system installer stopped working and I can’t get the home screen whenever I unlock the screen it freezes till I hold the power button. Could you please let me know what is going on. I’m not new to rooting and flashing I have flashed many custom roms on my nexus gsm. Thank you very much in advance

The method is the same for the s3 correct ? I did everything I was supposed to.

    • Max says:

Did you try factory reset? That will fix most of those issues.

    • Brooks says:

I get the same exact problem as described as steve when I try to install this ROM… back to stock 🙁

      • Brooks says:

I looked at the thread on XDA and it looks like you need to install the 3.0 version then the 4.0 version on top of it for it to work properly.

Well if u try it and it works please let me know lol

          • Brooks says:

            It didn’t work… thought it would…

After flashing Boot to recovery go to install zip internal sd locate file (tuchmi) not the roms u just flashed it should just say (tuchmi) enter file and flash all three zip files. Was having same problem but this method worked good. This Rom is blazing with the Kt747kernel, and chainfire 3d. Good luck much better then stock or cm9 or cm10 at the current time

    Hi Max,

How’s the battery life performance with this ROM?

Excited to try and will let you know how it goes.

  3. Steve H says:

Come on max can you give us some kind of feed back it would be very appreciated

  4. Brooks says:

5.0 works but the status bar is missing not sure what’s up with that…finding this rom not that stable going back to stock for sure now.

    • DISHMANS3 says:

Boot into recovery after flashing and booting 5.0 version. Locate -tuchmi- file in internal card. And enter and flash all three zip files. That will take of status issue. And wipe davlik cache too before beetroot

hey, thanks for great rom. everything is good in this rom except the heat. even after couple minutes of use, it heats up noticeably. any suggestions? thanks. i already tried setcpu/voltage control to keep cpu running at 1500mhz. still no help.

OK so alot of people have been having problems as have I. I found the solution and it worked for me and btw i love this rom. So the resolution is to NOT do a factory reset on the device if your already running something with touchwiz. You also have to flash 3.0 first then flash to 5.0 and it works perfectly. Glad I found a fix, I really love this rom, I already got a 6087 in quadrant!

    • sameer says:

does this fix any overheating issues? bc thats pretty much the only thing stopping me frm using this everyday.

    • Eric G says:

Can you explain the process of flashing 3.0 first and then flashing to 5.0?

      Not sure I follow, sorry…

      Thx.

      • Tyler h. says:

Well you dowload the 3.0 version of tuchmi from xda, the link is under the video here to the forum, then you install that as you would any other rom without wiping to a factory reset, you just install from zip in CWM thats it. Then boot up and see if its all working right if it is download the 5.0 version from the forums then do the same thing and install from zip without a factory reset and when its finished reboot and you should have the tuchmi rom running.

        Sameer
I have not had any problems whatsoever with overheating running the 5.0 version of the ROM. Actually it seems as if it running a lot cooler in fact as its about 88’ish degrees on average where it was about 92 before this rom on stock.

  7. Tyler says:

Hey does this still work with the samsung galaxy s3 1747 version? i just rooted mine and i wanted to install this, can you give me instructions on how to install? i looked around and everyone said you need 3.0 then 5.0 and i dont know what to do.. please help.

  8. Yuriy says:

Hey Max, anyone for that matter, can you please provide the list of acceptable kernels for the Galaxy S3 I747 ?
There seems to be kernels for the international Quad version, but nothing in particular that I could find just as a kernel, not a whole ROM. If possible, can you list them in order ?

    Thank you so much.

  9. Yuriy says:

I meant overclocking and moding battery

  10. jonathan says:

I just can’t seem to get this ROM installed.

I cannot find the download for version 3 to install first (then install 5.0 over top). The download like is dead from the xda page.

Also tried installing from ROM manager with no luck, when it boots into recovery from rom manager I just get an error message.
