I am running wicked on my GS3 T mobile and it is running great. My friend installed wicked and is running into problems same phone same carrier. I looked at the about phone options my baseband verison is T999UVLH2. Hers says T999UVLG1. Connects to the edge network only and is super slow. I’m guessing this is a diff radio, but i don’t know how she managed to do that. lol No backup of the ROM with original radio if this is the problem. What do you suggest I do. I even tried factory restoring the phone and it shows the same baseband version T999UVLG1 same problem. I’m stumped. Need help.

    • Ramel says:

TRY REINSTALLING WICKED, or try reloading back a stock rom and then running wicked again.

I did a full wipe and didn’t realize I wiped my data and now I don’t have my backup. but I copied one over to my laptop when I did do a backup. But I tried to install it back to my phone and its not working. It kept saying “fail” what do I do? I’m running “illusion” rom and its great but I need to have my “touchwiz”, stock rom on my phone. I did try to install the firmware but it didn’t take it also. So I’m running out of options. I was thinking of unrooting my phone back to stock but I don’t have any stock files on my phone, would that matter?

I have a G3 from Straight Talk. It is on the Sprint CDMA network. Model is SCH-S906L and the firmware is 4.1.2 . My problem is that in this area (and actually many others) Sprint coverage is very spotty or just plain non-existent. I want to unlock the phone, root it or whatever so that I can maybe switch to the Verizon system which is also CDMA. My question: can the phone be unlocked and switched to Verizon. If so how. If not, can it still be rooted to add a later version of software. If so, which is the correct root to use. Thanks for your help.
