For those of you looking for something similar to the Resurrection Remix AOKP ROM on the international S3 GT-i9300, there’s a pretty good AOKP port called Illusion ROM.
Illusion ROM is an AOKP ROM with Android 4.2.1 and latest ROM Control, available for AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon Galaxy S3. (SGH-I747, SGH-T999, SCH-i535)
Also, I was able to get Photo Sphere working on this ROM with a Gapps from Galaxy Nexus.
So if you are looking for a good solid Android 4.2.1 AOKP ROM, give the Illusion ROM a try this week and do let me know what you think of this ROM.

Hi i was wondering if we are supposed to download the cyanogenmod 4.2.1 gapps off of goo.im/gapps for this ROM. If not please give a link on where to download the right one. PLEASE.
Omg just google gapps for 4.2.1 and flash them so easy form me is working phenomenal
Josh are those the ones that max was talking about. He said that they are for galaxy nexus but they work on gs3 and gives you photosphere.

Can you remove the battery put it again boot into android recovery and do wipe data factory reset orjust restore your gs3
yes i did that but it wouldnt go to android recovery. Can you tell me what buittons to press to get into android recovery?
Hold volume up home button and power button but release it when the phone vibrate (power button)
Did you flash the ROM if yes do you was able to get into CWM? If yes can you enter now? By holding volume up home button and power button until the phone vibrate

Enter download mode connect the gs3 to your computer and use Odin again this will flash cwm into you’re phone

you should be able to search through the previous roms and use one of the gapps from the download try the gapps for liquid smooth.

My camera doesnt work i installee=d the gapps from the link you provided.. when i go to camera it says cant connect to camera .. i have galaxy s3 tmobile
for the camera to work you have to focus before you shoot otherwise it will crash every time
What do you mean it has to be focus…
you know how the camera has the circle well you have to press the screen then it will auto focus turn green then you can take a pic you have to do this every time other wise it will freeze and crash

yes it does work with liquid smooth although before you take a pic you have to make sure its focused otherwise it will crash every time
any other fix for the camera issue other than just focusing before taking the pics?
Also, after rebooting 2 nd time, phone will not connect to network – any idea why?

thats the only one i can think of if you dont focus the cam it will crash every time i flashed mine with the liquid smooth rom though
I had same thing after one or two after rebooting no network connection. I reinstalled three this rom three times, no lucky
Try this, system settings/more… /Mobil Networks uncheck data enable and make sure that network mode is set on LTE/GSM/WCDMA, reboot phone, once rebooted check data enable back again. This method has been working on my phone for a little while but I did had to re-install the rom at one point when this wasn’t working.

Can I download the files right to my phone from the internet, instead of downloading the files on my computer and then tranfering them to my gs3???? Another question , does it matter where u put the files??? Internal sd or external sd? Is it better one way or the other??? And thanks ur videos are very good. Keep it up!!!
Mostly cust roms are bugs. I updated at&t OTA to 4.1.1 from stock at&t 4.0.4 with rooted now OTA didn’t overwrite the supersu I’m glad I didn’t use re-rooted for 4.1.1 I was testing everything all are perfect and quadrant test is 5985.

Hey Max, I’m guessing there’s no BT fix at the moment right? I love this ROM for everything except that I can’t listen to music in my car or my BT headdset at work. What exactly is the issue? Is it GAPPS? If so, can I use an older GAPPS with this ROM?
i am stuck!!!!!!!!!!!! i forgot to install gapp and i can’t go into cwm anymore….. the only thing i can go to is the downloading where the green android is at… help!!!!

Just flashed AOKP and its works so much better than PA 2.55 (WHY NO PA 2.99 for d2att?!?!!) Calendar synced on the first try! Camera works! so nice to have a phone again after dropping MIUI
Whenever I open a game with this rom, the screen goes black.
The only way to open the game from there is to lock the phone, and then select the game from the ‘current programs’ and list.
Anyone having this problem too?

camera forecloses all the time. Sometimes you have to reboot device to get it to work. but for the most part it never works.
Hey man, I think there’s something wrong with this rom. Its seems as if whenever I load this rom something happens with my recovery settings. All my files and zips move to a different directory ( -o/ ) I don’t have my stock backup file. I try to restore but there’s no restore file. And I know I did a back up. I try to load another rom but this is the only rom that loads.
I did a complete wipe like the video says: wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik wipe and then flash a rom. I have to unroot and reroot again. this is a pain. It seems as if it happens to this rom only.
download astro file manager youll find it in file 1
Then long press the file select move and paste it on file 3 the way I do it is after selecting move go back to file 3 openit click clockwork recovery click download and then move here. Just follow the inst. Cause im telling you by heart good luck
i flashed this rom but my mobile network didnt work? i googled it to see if there was a fix i couldnt find one i really want to use this rom but if i cant make a phone call that rally wont work do you know of a fix or do i need to flash it a different way please help..

is it just me or all roms are like that. like i have a tmobile galaxy s3 and my data is on 3g is it actually 3g or not because with the stock rom im on 4g?
