Wicked ICS ROM is probably the best ICS ROM for the T-Mobile Galaxy S3 SGH-T999. Well, now it’s back in Jelly Bean form.
Based on latest Android 4.1.1, the Wicked Jelly Bean ROM comes with AROMA graphical installer with options to choose launchers, cameras, and more. For camera, you do have option of installing regular Sammy camera with Note 2 Gallery (my preferred camera) versus Android 4.2 Photo Sphere Camera and Gallery.
This is a pretty simple yet effective ROM with performance/battery tweaks many of you will appreciate over stock. Also, T-Mobile Hotspot tethering has been fully unlocked, just make sure to use User Agent switcher (to Android) when using Desktop browsers like Firefox or Chrome.

I installed, everything good, but can’t use WiFi Tethering, ask for upgrade the Tethering plan, any idea?
If you are trying to use a browser on your computer and are getting that message, then you need to change the user agent of your web browser to the android user agent. This will make it so t-mobile can’t tell the difference between your computer and your phone.
and just how do you do that for us newbies?
Simply use an extension, for google chrome just go into the web store and search “user agent” in extensions. User-Agent Switcher for Chrome works fine.
Max does the app to sd script hack work with this rom? Or does this rom have the app to sd built in?

Hey can someone tell me how to change the user agent i googled it and all but all i came across was about:debug but it doesnt work for my galaxy s3 tmobile version i have the wicked rom.
To change the user agent you have to goto the chrome store in your in your brower and down load the exte8. I have also have t-mobile and it doesn’t work for me either, looks like t-mobile has the blocks on!
On my phone or pc browser? Also nothing comes up as exte8. i figure it might be extension 8?

Fastest, Cleanest, most stable, and closest to stock jb rom for tmobile SGH-T999 I’ve used so far. If you like the stock feel of your phone, but you want it de-bloated, sped up, and with some added goodness, then this roms the one for you.

I like this rom up until I tried to use WIFI Tether with my Nexus 7. I got that upsell screen. I don’t know if there is a way to change Chrome for tablets to an Android Agent. I thought the tablet is already on Android Agent, but hey. I then tried the various wifi tether apps on Play, but could not get them to work…I changed roms, but I really like this one. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong, or at least tell me how I go about uninstalling tmobile hotspot.
When I flashed the ROM, I don’t have T-Mobile Backups(contacts) and I can’t find it in the app store…is there a way I can get it back??
you can reflash stock rom by unrooting also if you use gmail you can sync your contacts without tmo app.
Every wicked ROM for sgs3 sucks ass. Don’t get it. After 2 days if using it. Fucking force close on every app

Deviant roms and kernels are bad ass IMO. Battery life and benchmarks through the roof. Flashing roms is like taking a crap. wipe, wipe, wipe.

hey i noticed you mentioned the user agent switcher if we end up tethering. I downloaded the firefox user agent switcher and was just wondering which profile i should use? I downloaded the xml list of devices and os’s to import but it only has up to the galaxy s2 and older versions of the android os which do you recommend we use for our t-mobile s3′s? thanks!
I use nexus ics on my chrome. Just get linux. Never any problems.
My play store nor any other apps will update. I keep getiing a error. Also is there any way to let me add more than ten contacts to an sms message. Thanks.
im running this rom and love it but noticed my games like nova 3 are running laggier than it appears to in youtube videos of people playing it. i ran a quadrant benchmark and received a score of 3800-4700. in my system info within the app it shows current frequency at 1ghz. is it set this low for a reason or does it scale up under intensive load
this is the first modded rom i’ve run and it seems that power saving mode is enabled even when disabled in settings, I turned on my power saving mode for a benchmark run and it scored nearly identical to when my powersaving was suppose to be turned off

I honestly have to say, after using DarthStalker, Jedi Invasion, and Liquid smooth; Wicked is the best. Wicked ICS is great, but after a bit the apps will start acting buggy just because it’s ICS and the apps are meant for JB. I have yet for the preformace of Wicked to fail me. Bluetooth and the usual glitches that roms have, I have yet to deal with. The battery life on Wicked is great. I get about 10-13 hours after underclocking it using NS Tools. Also, use the V5 of JB. V2 is still a bit iffy.
I have two questions 1. When are they going to add multi-window to this rom and also update it to 4.2.1? Second questions. I can’t update my gmail application it says “Package file not signed correctly. Uninstall the previous copy of the app and try again” —– the problem is you can uninstall and try again! How do you fix this?
I know this is really late, but i’ve been bouncing around between several different roms and I always come back to this one. I have the tmobile t999 phone, and wicked runs smooth, BUT the GPS doesn’t work. I’ve tried other apps that use the GPS signal and none of them can find it. I have this problem on the Synergy Rom as well, the GPS works fine however on the PacMan Rom. Any Ideas why it’s broken?

Download odin on your pc. Download factory image for your phone. Flash it in download mode. Easy peasy. Google “return s3 to stock”. Include your model number. There are tutorials everywhere.
