How to Dual Boot Custom ROMs on Galaxy S3!

For those of you who want to dual-boot 2 different custom ROMs on your Galaxy S3, the latest Siyah kernel supports dual-booting 2 different Jelly Bean ROMs.  ICS ROMs are NOT SUPPORTED but so long as you use Jelly Bean custom ROMs, you can dual-boot them.

Currently Siyah kernel is only available for international Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 models, please do not try this on your dual-core U.S./Canadian models!

MIUI ROM for Galaxy S3! [AT&T/Sprint/T-Mobile/Verizon/i9300]

MIUI ROM, pronounced (My-U-I, like my user interface it supposed to mean), is probably one of my favorite ROMs for many Android smartphones.  Until recently, MIUI ROM for Galaxy S3 were not so stable but I think most of the recent versions are more stable enough to use as daily drivers.  Also, latest MIUI ROMs are built on top of CM10, so you can expect more compatibility when flashing custom kernels over it (most CM10 compatible kernels should also work fine with MIUI).  Yes, all these MIUI ROMs are based on CM10 Jelly Bean so you do also get the benefits of Jelly Bean stuff.

CM10 M1 ROM for Galaxy S3! [AT&T/T-Mobile/Sprint/Verizon/US Cellular]

This week’s big news is that CM10 (CyanogenMod10) ROM version “M1” is out for your AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, and US Cellular Galaxy S3.

What is “M1”?  Basically it’s an acronym for more or less “milestone stable” version of CM10.  You can expect pretty much everything working out of the box with full functionality.   Based on my testing, it seems indeed the best version of CM10 out yet and probably a good time to use it as a daily driver.

Romow Jelly Bean ROM for Galaxy S3 i9300!

Looking for the best leaked Jelly Bean ROM for your Galaxy S3 GT-i9300?

Well, I was going to keep updating my 420 ROM but since leaks are being leaked like every 2 days now, I’ve decided to wait for official Jelly Bean ROM to be out before doing that.

In the meanwhile, there’s a great Jelly Bean ROM I can recommend you, the Romow Jelly Bean ROM, which comes with the latest DLI1 Jelly Bean leak.

HighOnAndroid 420 Jelly Bean ROM Galaxy S3 i9300!

I was actually going to wait until the official Jelly Bean is released next week for GT-i9300 but I spent the whole day yesterday playing around with the latest leaked Jelly Bean version and added some of my favorite mods like custom boot animation and init.d script support.

Well, I wasn’t going to put this up but since I am running it already (and it seems to run fine, great battery life), you can try it until I put up an official version of the new HighOnAndroid “420” Jelly Bean ROM next week.
