For those of you who want to try the latest Android 7.1 Nougat for your Galaxy S3, you are in luck if you have the international GT-i9300 model.

Based on Android 7.1 Nougat, this “beta” version of CM14.1 ROM runs pretty good with everything working out of the box including voice, data, bluetooth, WiFi, camera, etc…etc…  Now, this isn’t still recommended as daily driver as it does lag a quite a bit at times and can be very annoying.  But if your Galaxy S3 is your second phone for experimentation or you just want to try out the new features of Android Nougat such as split-window or touch-force features (long-press on Google apps), or catching cats, you can with this beta version.

Android 7.0/7.1 Nougat is not yet available for other models of Galaxy S3 but as soon as it is available, I should have an update.  For right now though, this is definitely a fun working Nougat ROM to play with on your S3 so give it a test drive this week(end) and do let me know what you think!

Max, can you help me with something – I accidentally deleted my OS system after trying to see what issues my system was having with an SD Card. You were my first instructor to everything ROM related and I came here as a delayed padawan on all things Android. What can I do to get High on Android?
