I was actually going to wait until the official Jelly Bean is released next week for GT-i9300 but I spent the whole day yesterday playing around with the latest leaked Jelly Bean version and added some of my favorite mods like custom boot animation and init.d script support.
Well, I wasn’t going to put this up but since I am running it already (and it seems to run fine, great battery life), you can try it until I put up an official version of the new HighOnAndroid “420” Jelly Bean ROM next week.

Hey Max great job on the Rom but there is a bug at the lock-screen. after you check don’t show me again on how to do access the short cuts, the notification keeps popping up…. Keep up the great work..

Looks good but i still stick to foxhound rom. I like the functions and jelly bean is running great.
Hey Max, after I rooted I9300 I backed up STOCK ROM.
If I restore STOCK ROM will the OTA update be available to download even though still rooted?
I’ll probably just stick to flashing customs but was just curious.

hey,i also tried OTA after getting back to stock rom but it fails to install though it downloads the update.So basically the answer is no if the phone is rooted.

Now, I just installed the 420 jelly bean ROM, and i must say that it´s smooth as butter. The only thing is the bug on the lock screen. Any advice?

As usual great work. I have an issue with the lockscreen as well. It’s not that major an I could live with it. However I switched back to my previous rom because this one seemed to be eating up the data. When I checked what apps were connecting, the gallery used up about 500mbs in an hour. I’m not sure if it is just some setting I have. So maybe you you can check that out.

i solved the lock screen bug by doing this:
Settings—>lock screen, and then uncheck “swipe to unlock”.
This worked for me.
i upgrade to jelly bean…and how do i go back to ics?? any way can make me format back the original version??

Restore a previous backup
if you didnt back up, you can always download the orginal tuch w ICS ROM for sg3..

I installed y wiped but for some reason it won’t let me answer calls or make them. It’s just blank no ringing tone or anything. Someone have a solution for that bug??
I think that’s part of the leak bugs, I should have an update next week.

Thanks for the ROM, It is working with me but Google play crashes! anyone have the same problem? I still have the swipe message thing but it is not annoying as the google play

clear the google play data in settings>apps

Does this rom have the ability to manipulate the processor speed as we have in the foxhound 1.4.3 rom under the performance tab in settings menu?
If I want to flash this rom, do I just flash using clockwork mod recovery? Or does this rom have a different way of flashing it? please help

yes. i think he means official JB. Most of us want to see if the official JB is worth the try compared to the custom roms.
Guys quick pointer, I have criskelo rom and kitchen installed, what’s my best plan of action for flashing this rom but keeping my apps and settings etc?
Obv I will do a full backup in case my phone bricks but how does everyone else manage to jump from ROM to ROM without getting ticked off with the amount of setup time every time you wipe handset to flash new ROM?

i love your roms ,but whenever to i try download ur rom , stuck in half download. I am from Myanmar (Buma ) and poor in net speed so ,, I tried to install WanamLite rom. thank for ur issue and sorry for myself
Yeah that’s an issue with network most likely there’s nothing I can do here but you can try downloading again or find a more reliable internet.
Hey max how can i dual-boot on the Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300? i saw siyah kernel for the S3 but when i install it , it don’t change anything at the clockworkmod….
I don’t think it’s out yet for Siyah but should be shortly soon.

I have a problem with the S Memo and SNotes after installing the ROM. When I’m trying to use the old S Memo information is displayed that S Memo has been discontinued and I’ll be transferred to NotesS.
The NotesS application do open but there is a grey stripe across the screen with the information that this model GTI9300 is not supported. The script stops at target name: ANDROID_FULL_JAVA model not supported in the attached library.
Will this problem be solved with the official JB?

max there is the problem when i log on facebook and check out the picture it seen like the picture couldn’t be show out properly…and small question maybe u can help me i found out after i rooted i couldn’t receive and send sms do u know any reason or solution…and last but not least thank for the outstanding website and this awesome high on android 420 rom .good job!
Hey,i rooted my phone and successfully install the rom but once i started to use facing this issue that no longer have access for play store and tried of downloading or installing but no use what do i do about it,
Sorry, this ROM needs an update, I suggest using another ROM for now!
