For those of you who lose 4G LTE signals or even 3G signals after installing a new custom ROM on your Verizon Galaxy S3 SCH-I535, here’s how to fix it easily.  Also, you can use this method to change between 3G and 4G LTE to save battery life on Touchwiz-enabled ROMs.

You can download this app called “Phone Info” and open it.

Under “Device info”, make sure the mode is set to “LTE/CDMA/EvDo”.  This will make sure you get 4G LTE signals.

To force 3G only (so you can save battery life), you can set it to “CDMA auto (PRL)”.

If for some reason this does not fix your 4G LTE, you can do a complete factory reset by dialing *2767*3855#.  Now, this will erase EVERYTHING on your phone so make a backup of your internal storage before doing so!!!

I have the Verizon version. My phone is now roaming and when I tried to reactivate it, it said it was an alltel device and couldn’t be activated on the Verizon Wireless Network. Tried the phone info app and dialed the number for the full reset. It’s recognizing my SIM but I noticed my IMEI is just 0. I suppose that’s the problem. Anyone know how this would’ve happened or any fixes? Thanks.
